Our journey with Cavaliers began as a personal devotion that evolved into a mission to share the joy they bring with others. At For King and Country Puppies, we are committed to preserving and enhancing the legacy of the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.

Our breeding program is founded on the principles of responsible breeding and ethical practices. We prioritize the health, temperament, and well-being of our Cavaliers, ensuring that they are not just breeding dogs but cherished members of our family. Health screening is paramount, and we work diligently with trusted veterinarians to maintain the highest standards in the care of our dogs.

Our Story

After suffering from a stroke, my Mother didn't have a lot of "get up and go" as she had before. My concern was, what can I do to help provide her with a renewed sense of purpose, bring her more joy; something to care for beyond herself and her situation? Many years ago at an airport, I saw a Cavalier for the first time. I remember distinctly saying, "one day I'll have one too, they are the most beautiful dog in the world! “Therefore, a short time after her stroke Savannah was purchased, and the passion for Cavaliers has expanded into a small business!

My Mother assists in caring for our "Kingdom" of Cavaliers along with my ten-year-old son, my husband and I. We work hard every day with love and dedication to provide healthy happy puppies! Although they’re born to be a companion, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel dog breed retains the sporty nature of their spaniel ancestors. If they’re not sitting on a lap or getting a belly rub, nothing makes them happier than to scout out birds and run after balls. One of the largest of the toy breeds, Cavaliers are often as athletic as a true sporting breed and enjoy hiking, running on the beach, and dog sports such as agility, flyball and rally. Some have even shown their prowess as hunting dogs. The more restful members of the breed find success as family friends and therapy dogs as in my mother’s case.
